Oil on board painting by Louis Valtat, 1869 to 1952, was a French painter and printmaker who is noted as a key figure in the stylistic transition in painting from Impressionism to Fauvism. The artwork represents a village landscape view. Signed by the artist with initals LV in the lower left. Black mat, ornate golden frame.
