Provenance: Affinity Antique Auction, Fresh Meadows, NY, United States, September 11, 2022, lot 26. Nikolai Vladimirovich Remisoff known as Re My is a Russian painter and graphic artist, theater designer, leading cartoonist of the pre revolutionary magazine Satyricon, the first illustrator of Chukovskys fairy tale Crocodile. He worked in Hollywood as an art director and production designer, and participated in the creation of major design projects for the founder of the cosmetic empire Elizabeth Arden. One of a kind artwork.
