VINTAGE ROYAL COPENHAGEN PORCELAIN SOLDIER FIGURE
A rare vintage Danish Royal Copenhagen hand painted porcelain figurine of a soldier with a dog. Inspired by The Tinderbox, a literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about a soldier who acquires a magic tinderbox capable of summoning three powerful dogs to do his bidding. Marked to the base with the manufacturer stamp and the model number 1156. Circa the 1920s. Vintage Danish Porcelain Figurine Collectibles.
