RUSSIAN FRENCH COLOR LITHOGRAPH BY MARC CHAGALL
Marc Chagall, Russian, French, 1887 to 1985, limited edition color lithograph on Arches wove paper, Frontispiece, Floral Tribute, 1969. Signed in pencil lower right. Numbered 3 of 20 in pencil lower left. Mark Zakharovich Chagall is a Russian Soviet and French artist of Jewish origin. In addition to graphics and painting, he was also engaged in scenography and wrote poetry in Yiddish. He is one of the most famous representatives of the artistic Avant Garde of the 20th century. Between 1960 and 1974 Chagall has created 28 original full page lithographs for the six authoritative volumes about his entire lithographic work. Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
