ORTHODOX CARVED WOOD ICON - An antique Russian 19th century solid wooden icon with a hand-carved representation of three saints, presumably Mother of God with St Joseph and St John. Provenance: Anna Feltsman Estate. Feltsman family: Oscar Feltsman, 1921 to 2013, was a Russian composer of Jewish descent born in Odessa. He was the father of Vladimir Feltsman, born 1952, a Russian-American classical pianist. Anna Feltsman was the first wife of Vladimir Feltsman. Russian Religious Antiques and Collectibles.
