BRONZE THUMB SCULPTURE BY CESAR BALDACCINI
Cesar Baldaccini, 1921 to 1998, gold glazed bronze limited edition sculpture titled Le Pouce, The Thumb, 1967. Signed and dated lower, and numbered 4 of 9. Marked Fondeur Bocquel. Cesar was a French sculptor and member of the Nouveau Realisme movement, best known for his use of compacted cars and recycled metals. Mid Century Modernist Bronze Sculptures For Collectors.
