The icon is enclosed in a silver riza or oklad with repousse work and gemstone cabochons. The icon depicts Jesus in the Christ Pantocrator iconography, known in the Western Christianity as Christ in Majesty. Monogram Jesus Christ in Church Slavonic in the upper part.
