LARGE RUSSIAN GILT SILVER NEPHRITE LETTER OPENER - A Russian letter opener. The blade of the piece is made of nephrite jade. The handle is made of gilr silver with a blue guilloche enamel inset. It is also decorated with the initials of Nicholas II, 1868-1918, emperor of Russia, and a laurel crown. The handle is topped with a gilt silver figurine of the imperial double-headed eagle.
