WINTER LANDSCAPE WOODCUT SIGNED GORDON MORTENSEN
Color woodcut print depicting a winter landscape, a field in the forest covered with snow. Titled Late January in the lower left. Numbered 88 out of 100 in the bottom middle. Hand-signed Gordon Mortensen and dated 1975 in the lower right. Gordon Mortensen, born 1938, is an American artist who specializes in reduction woodcut prints. The finest work with wood and color palette creates a watercolor effect in the artworks. There is an Associated American Artists label with Mortensen's brief biography on the backside.
