FOUR WWII AMERICAN NEWSMAP POSTERS DEMOBILIZATION
A lot of four 1940s American Newsmap posters. The maps date back to January and February 1944, October 1945. Issue topics: Map of France, The Planned Assault of Japan, New Discharge Scores - General Marshall on Demobilization. From 1942 until 1946, the US Army published the weekly Newsmaps, double-sided posters that were meant to inform the military on the progress of the war via maps, photographs, and short news snippets.
