VINTAGE SEPIA ETCHING HAND SIGNED BY RAPHAEL SOYER
Sepia etching with aquating depicting a young couple. Titled Friends and dated July 1973 on the backside. Signed by the artist, Raphael Soyer, in the lower right and on the backside. Signed by the printer, Emiliano Sorini, on the backside. Numbered 35 out of 250. White mat, golden frame. Raphael Soyer, 1899-1987, was a Russian-born American painter. Among Soyer's portrait subjects were artists and writers who were his friends; these included Allen Ginsberg, Chaim Gross, Edward Hopper etc. Emiliano Sorini, 1931-1999, was an Italian-born American printmaker.
