Ryohei Tanaka, Japanese, 1933 to 2019, etching on paper depicting a rural house, 1997. Signed and dated in pencil lower right. Numbered in pencil, 39 of 150, lower left. Matted. Inscribed in pencil, Kyoto 16 Rakushi Sya, lower left. Ryohei Tanaka was a Japanese artist. He specialised in printmaking, through etching. His works are in several collections, including those of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Art, and the National Museum of Singapore.
