Gouache on paper painting representing a multi-figure composition in the style of Marc Chagall, 1887-1985, a French Modernist artist. The artwork depicts Chagall himself with a palette, the houses of his native town Vitebsk, a chicken, and a red goat. The painting is executed in blue tones, characteristic for the artist's early period, ca. 1910s. Signed Marc Chagall in the bottom middle. Hallmark Marque Shagal Creation in the lower right.
