ANTIQUE PORTRAIT KAISER WILHELM IN ROTATING FRAME
An antique oval oil painting on board depicting a portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm II after the original oil painting by Adolf Emil Hering, German, 1863 to 1932. Presented in a military gilded cast iron frame with a rotating portrait. The frame is adorned with a military figural design with an Imperial crown on the top and flags on the sides. Mounted to the stand. Circa: late 19th to early 20th century. Wilhelm II, 1859 to 1941, anglicized as William II, was the last German Emperor and King of Prussia, reigning from 15 June 1888 until his abdication on 9 November 1918.
