ANTIQUE HAND WRITTEN SCROLL W ISLAMIC CALLIGRAPHY
An antique 19th - ealry 20th century scroll covered with handwritten Arabic quotes from the surahs of Koran, or Quran, the holy scripture of Islam. The polychrome calligraphy is garnished with a floral ornament. This item is a fine example of the Thuluth script that has been used for decoration since the Middle Ages. Oriental Muslim Wall Decor.
