An original French Parisienne exhibition lithographic poster on paper, Picasso, Grand Palais, dated 1979 to 1980, after the original painting, The Village Dance, 1921 to 1922, by Pablo Picasso. Marked and inscribed in the print lower to the center. Copyright SPADEM, New York, 1980, printed in France by I. M. L. Paris. Pablo Picasso, 1881 to 1973, was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist and theatre designer who spent most of his adult life in France. Regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century, he is known for co founding the Cubist movement, the invention of constructed sculpture, the co invention of collage, and for the wide variety of styles that he helped develop and explore.
