AMERICAN CHARCOAL DRAWING SIGNED FRANK ELISCU - Frank Eliscu, American, 1912 to 1996, charcoal on paper drawing depicting a horse. Signed by the artist lower right. Matted and framed. Frank Eliscu was more famous for his sculptures. He was an art teacher who designed and created the Heisman Memorial Football Trophy in 1935 when he was only 20 years old. Among his works are public fountains, the ex-President Gerald Fords inaugural medal, the five-story rone frieze that decorates the glass panes above the doors to the Library of Congress.
