Signed with the Cyrillic initials lower right. Dated 1914 lower left. Matted and framed. Yuriy Yuryevich Pavlovich was a Ukrainian scientist - ethnographer, watercolor painter. He studied at the Faculty of Law of the Kiev University and the drawing school of N. Murashko. Under the influence of university professor D. Antonovich, he became interested in ethnography. A significant number of works are devoted to folk dress. Created 55,000 color drawings of Ukrainian clothing types.
