Alexander Victorovitch Samoilov was a photographer at the Mosfilm studio, where he worked with such famous film directors as Andrei Konchalovsky and Rustam Khamdamov. From 1978 until the collapse of the Soviet Union he collaborated with a number of publishing houses. His works appeared on the pages of the magazines Premier, Official, Elle.
