A vintage European school oil painting on canvas after Edgar Degas the original oil painting on canvas, Ironers, c. 1884 to 1886. Signed by the artist, Weinhouse bb, lower right. Circa: 20th century. Framed. Ironers, the figure of a worker yawning from her boring, monotonous work with a bottle of wine in her hand has become almost a symbol of a woman-worker of the early 20th century. Edgar Degas, 1834 to 1917, was a French Impressionist artist famous for his pastel drawings and oil paintings. One of a kind artwork.
