Belonged to the circle of underground Moscow artists. One of the founders of the 20 Moscow Artists group, which included underground artists: V. Nemukhin, O. Rabin, A. Rabin, B. Steinberg, Lev Krapivnitsky and others. In the 1970s he began to work on stylized images of plants and landscapes, declaring himself the countrys first ecologist. One of a kind artwork.
