Miklos Mihalovits, Hungarian, 1888 to 1960, oil on canvas portrait painting depicting an old bearded man. Signed by the artist lower left. Framed. Miklos Mihalovits started his career at the School of Applied Arts and the Benczur Master School, in Budapest. He also took study tours in Italy and Germany. Miklos Mihalovits art is characterized by bright colors and temperamental shaping, which can be seen in his paintings of study heads for biblical compositions and nude figures.
