Small collection of 3 charms in the shape of a horseshoe. Genuine Antique XIX Century, Victorian Era mourning jewelry charms pendants. The items are completely handmade and created using human hair braided around a metal spin that holds and firmly supports it. The Caps are 9 karats rose gold filled pieces. The use of human hair as a material for jewelry was popular during the mid to late 1800s and was not only connected to mourning periods but also to romantic meanings. Weight 2.3 grams
