A Russian Popov Factory porcelain figurine of the shoemaker shown making a bast shoe, dressed in an embroidered white shirt, striped blue trousers, and lapti, seated on a tree stump, atop on a rectangular floor-like base. Underglaze blue factory mark impressed under the base. Circa 1810s-1860s.
