VINTAGE ARTISTIC GLAZED CERAMIC VASE LEA HALPERN
Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic trapezoidal ceramic vase covered with shiny brown glaze. Signed by the artist, L. Halpern, and numbered, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. Provenance: The Doyle New York, November 17, 1999, lot # 311.
