LOT EIGHT GERMAN FAIRING PORCELAIN PIG FIGURINES
A lot of eight Victorian era collectible German novelty fairing porcelain pig figurines including pigs in various traveling scenes with train, bus, cart, bus, and others. They were prizes or trinkets when the large fairs were in their heyday. All figurines are painted in the same green and peachy pink colors for the pigs and adorned with gilding. Several items are titled with engraving, Wheeling Baby, CC Latest Improvement, The More The Merrier. Several items are marked on the bottom. Circa: 1850s-1900s. German porcelain figurines and decor collectibles.
Dimensions: largest item: 3" x 5 1/4" x 2 1/4" in. Smallest item: 2" x 3" 1/2" x 1 1/2" in. All measurements are approximate.
