A PAIR OF GOTHIC STYLE HIGH RELIEF GILDED JUGS
A pair of sumptuous Gothic-style jugs with gilding. Three-tiered base with complex ornamentation of high relief. The body is in the shape of a Sassanian jug, decorated with a medieval pattern and mascarons of winged angels in a circle. The base is adorned with an embossed foliage motif. Faceted neck with a high oriental flare. Figural handles with birds on top. Circa: 19th century.
