FRENCH INK PAINTING LANDSCAPE VIEW BY RAOUL DUFY - Raoul Dufy (French, 1877-1953) ink painting on paper depicting a landscape view with male and female figures. Signed lower right. Dufy, a French Fauvist painter, later - Cubist. He developed a colorful, decorative style that became fashionable for designs of ceramics and textiles. He is noted for scenes of open-air social events. He was also a draftsman, printmaker, book illustrator, scenic designer, designer of furniture, and planner of public spaces.
