VINTAGE ARTISTIC GLAZED CERAMIC VASE BY LEA HALPERN
Lea Halpern (Dutch, American, 1901-1985) artistic spherical ceramic vase with wide neck and dent effect, covered with red-brown and blue glaze. Signed by the artist with initials, L. H., and numbered, on the bottom. Lea Halpern was known as the van Gogh of potters, she experimented with glazes, special effects, and innovative pigments. Provenance: The William Doyle, lot # 296.
