A rare Soviet periodical illustrated magazine, Contemporary Architecture (CA), # 1-2. Published by State Publishing House, Moscow, 1930. A red and white design of the front cover and poem, Rejoice Early, and a black and white photograph of V. V. Mayakovsky (Russian, 1893-1930) on the last spread. Description of the magazine in German and French on the back cover. The magazine covered issues of urban planning, residential and industrial architecture, design, history and theory of architecture and construction. Played one of the main roles in promoting the ideas of architectural constructivism. Published in Moscow in 1926-1930.
