A RUSSIAN WATERCOLOR PAINTING BY N SARAPHANOFF - Nikolai Saraphanoff (19th/20th-century Russian artist) watercolor painting on paper, Istanbul, depicting a temple view. Signed and titled lower right. Framed. Saraphanoff, a member of group Union of Russian Artists in Constantinople (1921–1923). He was a constant participant in seven exhibitions which were arranged in the club Mayak, and the president of the society of Russian artists in Istanbul between the two wars.
