A RUSSIAN GILT SILVER KOVSH WITH RUBY & PEARL - A traditional Russian vessel for water - kovsh, made of 88 silver, with a gilded interior and a unique, comfortable handle. An admirable exterior adorned with carved edging, two ruby stones encrusted on the front of the kovsh and on its handle, and two pearls placed at the bottom of the twisted handle. Marked with Russian hallmarks, 88 Silver mark, Kokoshnik, Imperial Eagle, and other Cyrillic and Assay marks. Complete with a beautiful protecting wooden box. Weight: 58.5 g.
