A SOVIET PROPAGANDA POSTER BY MIKHAIL SOLOVIEV
A Soviet poster "Budu stroitelem fabric i zavodov lyubimoy Rodiny!" ["I will be a builder of factories and plants of my beloved Motherland!"]. Artist Mikhail Solovyov (1905–1990, Meritorious artist of the Russian Federation). Published by "ISKUSSTVO", 1948. The poster depicts a young man with a mentor at work in a factory. The artist Mikhail Solovyov, one of the most striking and successful artists of the Soviet poster, worked in the style of socialist realism. His works are compositional and coloristically close to easel painting.
Dimensions: 22.5 x 33 in.
Condition: Very good condition, on the oxerleaf are pencil marks and printing with permission to manufacture.
