A RUSSIAN SILVER AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL SNUFF BOX - On the lid of the box is an image of a bogatyr' (hero of Russian epics) copying the image of Dobrynia from the famous painting by V. Vasnetsov. The image is surrounded by a border of turquoise dots. The rest of the box is covered with delicate ornament using cloisonne enamel technique.
