Original vintage double-sided advertising poster for Galeries Lafayette (founded 1912): The department store selling the best products in all Paris - Winter Sports / Aux Galeries Lafayette - Maison vendant le meilleur marche de tout Paris - Sports d'Hiver. Great illustration depicting two young children with rosy cheeks, one wearing a blue and white sailor style outfit and the other child wearing a red and white gingham dress and waving to the viewer, sitting on an upturned wooden chair as a sledge with the stylised text above and below, the information text and logo on the other side within a decorative border listing the addresses for the shop branches in Lyon, London and Nice, and the various types of clothes available for babies, children and teenagers.
