Vintage c1930 Ruby McKim Bird Life/Audubon Quilt - Vintage c1930 Ruby McKim Bird Life/Audubon Quilt measuring 65 by 81 inches. It is comprised of 63 blocks, 8 by 8 inches, set straight, 7 by 9, with 32 hand embroidered bird blocks with alternating solid green squares. There is a 5.5 inch pieced diamond border along all 4 sides. It is machine pieced, hand embroidered, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a pale green solid reverse. The edge is finished with and applied solid green binding. It is in good condition with a yellow discoloration along the top center. This quilt was generously donated to AQS G by Lisa Erlandson.
