Vintage Native American Theme Applique Medallion Quilt - Vintage Native American Theme Applique Medallion Quilt measuring 95 by 85 inches. The center block measures 39 by 26 and features an appliqué of a Native American profile in a feathered headdress. It is surrounded by a 3.5 inch blue frame and an 11 inch wide frame with additional appliqué motifs including geometric motifs arrows, birds, bugs, and more. That is followed by a 3.5” red frame, a 6 inch white frame with more appliqué geometric motifs, including zigzag lines, and an outer border 3.5” solid red. It is machine appliquéd, machine pieced, and hand quilted. There is thin cotton batting and a solid red reverse. The edge is finished with an applied red fabric binding. It is in good condition with some storage line discoloration, spots and other marks, most should soak out. Definitely a one-of-a-kind quilt.
