Antique c1910 Wool 8 Point Star Comfort Quilt - Antique c1910 Wool 8 Point Star Comfort Quilt measuring 67”x82”. Found in Nebraska. Brilliant red wool 8-point diamond stars, backed by dark wool flannel setting pieces, are embroidered around each diamond in briar stitch or other Victorian crazy stitch, one color per star. The back is a striped flannel and the back is a yellow applied binding by zigzag machine stitching. It is machine pieced, hand embroiderd and hand tied. It is in very good condition with one small hole & one small spot. Binding has primitive workmanship. This quilt was generously donated to AQSG by Xenia Cord, Legacy Quilts.
