Joseph Trumpeldor Military Post Envelope to Esther Rosov, His Love, in Alexandria. Sent in 1915. Without Letter. - Joseph Trumpeldor served among the IDF Mule Corps in Alexandria, Egypt. From there he sent the envelope to his love, Esther Rosov, at the Carmel Oriental Hotel in Alexandria where she stayed. Esther was his French teacher and 13 years his young. A deep love developed between them and finally they engaged.  The inscription is in Joseph Trumpeldor 's handwriting, front and back, including his address and signature. Censurship stamps and military postal seals on the envelope.  Mandate period postcard is attached after a photo of Joseph Trumpeldor published by Eliyahu Brothers.
