The brigade commander Isacar Shadmi decided on his own initiative to lower the hour of the curfew from 2100 to 1700, however the order was not given to the mukhtars of the villages. Only at 1630, half an hour before the enforcement of the curfew the message was handed over to the village mukhtars.
