CZECH BOXING CLUB ”MACCABEE” ANNIVERSARY STICKPIN, 1935 - Rare stickpin from the Czech boxing club ”Maccabee” celebrating its tenth anniversary in 1935. The approx. 1 in. wide stamped badge bears an image of a Star of David above ”Piestany”, the home of this club located northeast of Bratislava. Very good. Almost all of the Jews in the town, over 1,500, were murdered by Slovakians or Germans during World War II.
