C.S.A. CALL CERTIFICATES, FEB. 17, 1864, NINE DENOMINATIONS - Lot of nine C.S.A. call certificates issued pursuant to a Feb. 17, 1864 law passed to reduce the amount of currency. The notes are almost all issued (except $2000 note) and three are issued to the Bank of Charleston. Denominations include $100, $500, $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, $5,000, $20,000, $50,000, and $100,000. Some bear spindle holes or ink erosion, generally very good. Nine pieces.
