REINHARD HEYDRICH ON TIME MAGAZINE COVER
Full copy of the February 23, 1942 edition of Time magazine. The cover features Boris Artzybasheff's profile portrait of REINHARD HEYDRICH (1904-1942), with Heydrich's image superimposed upon a background of nooses. The portrait is captioned: 'HEYDRICH: GESTAPO EXECUTIONER Can terror, hunger, propaganda rule 150,000,000 captives?' An illustrated article on pp. 32-38 describes some of the atrocities undertaken by Nazi occupation governments, and appropriately lays a good deal of the blame at Heydrich's feet. Mailing label at bottom of cover, very good.
