JOHANN VON KIELMANSEGG
(1906 - 2006) German general staff officer and commander of the 111th Panzer Grenadier Regiment, arrested by the Gestapo as a co-conspirator of the 20 July plot, but released on 23 October 1944 for lack of evidence. Lot of two signed items, includes: S.P., 4 x 5.75 in. b/w, a candid image in Bundeswehr uniform, signed at bottom; with an A.L.S., 1p. oblong 8vo., [n.p.]. Apr. 16, 1979 in German, apparently sending the photo. Two pieces.
