GERTRUD SCHOLTZ-KLINK - (1902 - 1999) German Reich Women's Leader and head of the Nazi Women's League. A good orator, her main task was to promote male superiority and the importance of child-bearing. Scarce signed copy of her book: 'Frauen Helfen Siegen: Bilddokumente vom Kriegseinsatz Unserer Frauen und Mutter' ('Women Help Them Win: Pictorial Documents from the War Effort of our Women and Mothers') (Zeitgeschischte-Verlag: Berlin), 1941. 88pp. 4to., bearing many black-and-white photographs of women in the Third Reich, performing motherly duties, nursing wounded soldiers, etc. The last image in the book is a full-page portrait of Hanna Reitsch, and the front cover bears a portrait of Scholtz-Klink in uniform. She signs in blue ink on the title page, just beneath her printed name and title: 'Reichsfrauenfuhrerin'. Fine condition overall.
