GERHARD BARKHORN AND WALTER KRUPINSKI - Good signed photograph, 5.5 x 4 in. b/w taken from a book, signed by German aces and Knights Cross recipients GERHARD BARKHORN (1919-1983) and WALTER KRUPINSKI (1920-2000). Also signed by HERBERT WEHNELT (1918-2007), their squadron captain and group commander in Jagdgeschwader 51. Sold with a T.L.S. from Wehnelt, 1p. 4to., 2007, in English declining to send a photo of himself as a fighter pilot and noting that at war's end: '...I lost everything to the Polish side under the circumstances prevailing...' Two pieces.
