ADOLF WILD VON HOHENBORN - (1860 – 1925) German infantry general, generalleutnant during the World War I. From 21 January 1915 to 29 October 1916 he also served as Prussian Minister of War War-date I.S.P., 7 x 11 in. b/w, a three-quarter length standing pose in uniform inscribed to a 'feldwebel' at bottom and referencing their service in the Argonnes, December, 1917, signed adding his rank as general in the XVI Armeekorps. Also signed and dated 1917 by the photographer. Some soiling and a few spots on the mount, very minor silvering to the edges of the image, else very good. Set in a period frame, no glass.
