REPURPOSED RAD 'ARBEIT ADELT' PLAQUE - Repurposed Reichsarbeitsdienst wall plaque, 3.25 x 4.5 in., showing a large German swastika eagle at center, with the 'spade and wheat' emblem of the RAD at the center of the swastika. Beneath the large eagle emblem is the motto of the RAD in releif: 'Arbeit adelt' ('Labor ennobles.') This plaque has been affixed to a 4 x 6 in. painted wooden base, above an affixed metal label, reading: 'GAU-SZ XXII'. Tarnished with some scratches, else fine.
