METAL PANEL BEARING NSFK EMBLEM - A neat relic, an unidentified metal panel, likely a fragment of an airplane, bearing the partial emblem of the 'Nationalsozialistisches Fliegerkorps' ('National Socialist Flyers Corps'). The panel measures 13 x 13.5 in., and has been secured via three screws to a cloth backing, within a 16.5 x 20.5 in. presentation case. Paint loss at spots, notable loss at top, else very good. The NSFK, founded in April 1937, was a paramilitary organization of the Nazi Party that conducted military aviation training in gliders and private airplanes during its earlier years.
