GERMAN BINOCULARS - Good quality pair of German binoculars, 6 x 9 in., bearing the manufacturer's information 'Hensolt Wetzlar' and serial number '579447' at center. Original leather neck strap present, yet a bit cracked. Optics generally good, yet some adjustment knobs are a bit difficult to turn. Generally very good condition. Sold with leather case, 10 x 6.25 x 3.5 in., marked on the interior of the lid by the previous owner: 'L. Schuller...10-Komp....Inf.-Rgt. 64'. While the binoculars fit inside the case, the lid would not close snugly with the binoculars inside; hence, the case almost certainly did not originally house the binoculars, and is likely a post-war replacement.
